Engine choice from the two litre Honda Civic type R or the Ford Duratec In 2 litre or
2.3 litre capacity.
Both engine variants are lightweight high performance modern units capable of 200 to 260 plus bhp in normally aspirated trim. if we supercharge or turbo charge the engines then 400 bhp is easily obtainable.

PERFORMANCE MODIFICATIONS VTech KIT
Stage 1
HYDRA ENGINE MANAGEMENT this is a plug in aftermarket Engine Management system and wiring loom, developed by Zcars for their VTech kits. It comes complete with its own wiring loom which only then requires a 12 volt feed and earth to make it run. With the standard kit exhaust and silencer, the results are a 10% increase in top end bhp to 220 but the real gains are to be found in the mid range torque. This is achieved by careful mapping of the VTech system and operating it earlier in the rev range, something that other systems struggle to cope with.
Stage 2
Four into to into one stainless steel performance exhaust manifold gives another 15 bhp if use in conjunction with above HYDRA system.
Stage 3
46mm individual throttle bodies and inlet manifold increase power by a further 20bhp to give a total of 255 bhp

- ETB Digi dash. It does tache, speeds, ship Ingots, 0-60 timer, quarter mile timer, battery voltage, oil pressure water temp, fuel level, main beam/indicator/fog neutral lights. The new units come complete with ECU and throttle bodies and costs start at £5500 including VAT.
